A big Thank You!!

When Anna from Flowergardengirl first suggested the Gardening by Letter idea I couldn't wait to join in.  Her thought was that so much of our mail comes from bills and advertisements that getting the mail isn't as fun as it used to be.  People just don't write cards and letters the way they used to now that we have email, etc.  How often do we get cards and letters now unless it's a birthday or a holiday?  So Anna organized this Project  and lucky me, I get to be a part of it.
Like this Stellar's Jay waiting for his turn at the feeder, I couldn't wait for my turn in the month of May.

Opening the cards and letters from everyone was so much fun.  There were handmade cards, beautiful photos, seeds, handmade gifts and more.  I want to say "Thank You" to each of you.

Thank you to:
Anna @ Flowergarden girl
Jodi @ bloomingwriter
Jen @ Muddy Boots Dreams
Jared@ Pleasant Hill Ramblings
Phillip @ Gardens of a Golden Afternoon
VP @ Veg Plotting
Kylee @ Our Little Acre
Ann @ Northeast Gardener
Kathleen @ Kasey's Korner
Peggy @ Organic Growing Pains
I so enjoyed getting my turn, and it was worth the wait!  Not only that, but I discovered some great new blogs as well.

  1. Oh wow, that looks like such a fun package Catherine. I can't wait for my turn either! I'm glad you liked my card. That makes me happy. Enjoy your goodies. I just planted Cerinthe for the first time this year (I noticed a seed packet in the second photo). I hope it grows well for both of us. Now you've just reminded me I need to get busy and make Junes card!

  10. Kathleen - Thanks again! I'm going to try the Cerinthe, I hope it's not too late. I hope yours do great.

Julie - It sure was fun to open the envelope. Sometimes I wait to get the mail just because I know nothing exciting will be there.

Anna - Thanks again! I'm going to sit on the deck and read the magazine tomorrow.

    Laura - It really was.

Jan - I'm sorry to hear that! You've really been having some bad luck lately. I'm sending you good thoughts! Please do not worry about the card :)

Darla - Maybe another group of bloggers could start something similar? I was lucky I was up late reading blogs the night Anna posted the idea.

Susie - Usually just ads, boring! :)

Becca - Sometimes I do just put it off, unless I'm expecting something, like this :)

    Anna - Very welcome change.

Tina - It is another good way to meet others, and find some great new blogs as well!
