Join in on the give away!

I was recently contacted by CSN for a giveaway on my blog.  I don't normally link to these type of giveaways but I thought it might be fun for someone to have a chance at winning a gift certificate for something for their home or garden.  CSN has over 200 online stores and they carry everything you might want for your home and garden from home decor to bird baths right up to swing sets.  If you visit their link and want to find things for your home and garden just click on the link at the top left of their page to take you to one of their other online stores.  I found some cute outdoor playhouses for kids and on their other websites there was everything from fire pits to fountains to greenhouses and nice garden furniture as well as lots of items for indoors.

The Robins think that the sod pile in our front yard is our give away to them.

This $55 gift code for CSN online stores giveaway is open to all US and Candian visitors.  I don't (and haven't) receive anything from CSN except for the fun of drawing the name of the lucky winner.

Not one bit of concern for me, they know there are more worms in here than they could ever eat.

So head on over to their website and start dreaming and fingers crossed you'll be able to win the giveaway to help make that purchase.
Good luck!  If you are interested just leave me a comment with a way for me to get a hold of you, there's nothing else you need to do.  The winner will be drawn on Friday February 25th.

King of the sod pile!

Don't forget that today is also the start of the back yard bird count!  Looks like I should have lots of Robins on that count. Pin It

  1. I have never visited their website so I'll have to do that. Your bird looks like he claimed the sod pile. Have a nice weekend.

  2. Oh, I admit to being jealous here! We are still very cold, -31 Celsius with the windchill, and have lots of snow. No sign of robins any time soon. Count me in the draw, please.

  4. I think the robin is disgusted because you left out all the worms. She is waiting for your next move to toss that pile so she can get inside.
    It looks warmer there.

  5. Great robin photo... but I think that your girls looked cuter on that dirt pile!

  14. Oh. My. Goodness. That last picture of Mr.Robin is prize worthy! You really captured his detail. I love Robins and that picture made me all "ohhh, look hunny, he's so cute!!" Yes, I actually did that!
Now for the giveaway, I usually don't bother with them, but because it's you, I took a gander at what CSNstores had to offer, and I would say that I would probably get a water wiggler. I need one for my birdie friends and plus, I like to say water wiggler! Thank you for the wonderful pictures and the giveaway!

  32. Bird Count participant here, too;-) Yesterday was a very slow day at the feeders, however! Suddenly it went from huge numbers to literally a handful. I think it's the warm weather front that has rolled through here. They are enjoying looking for bugs and worms & don't need my feeders as much. I didn't really look out much though, as I didn't have time and wasn't home for big chunks of time. I'm hoping today to get a good chunk of time to watch for them!

I was contacted by CSN last yr and again this year but they would only allow me to use a topic that had nothing to do with home or gardening and there was no way to disguise it well in a post on my blog so I had to decline. I'd do it if they would use a different link but they were trying to direct more traffic to a certain product. It wasn't something I could make work--but it was for $75. I tried to be as creative as possible and nothing made that link work with my blog. I have ordered from stores on CSN before and have been happy with my purchases. There is such a variety and some really interesting stuff;)

Have fun with the GBBC today & tomorrow:-)

  33. Sounds like fun. Please enter me as I could use a swing for our grown up swing set. Need to get to work on the BBBC now!

  39. Am I out of touch or what... as I've never heard of CSN? :)

I am also going to check out the GBBC, but will likely not get very many unless we get above nighttime freezing temps. Yesterday it snowed! Have a great weekend, Catherine,

  42. Your robins seem to be happy with their give away. :) If I win I'll probably buy some neat tool that to help this old (22 is kind of old) arthritic patient garden this year. That's one of the things RA has been working hard at taking away from me. I hate to admit it, but I'm afraid it's winning too. :( I'll always love gardens though, even if I can't get in on the knitty gritty stuff. :)

It was great to see you'd popped by and left a lovely message on my blog, Catherine - many thanks! You were correct in your assumptions - I'm still very much on puppy duty! We need to get him properly house-trained as soon as possible and so it's still pretty much a full-time job keeping an eye on him!

Your Robin is absolutely gorgeous - amazingly clear and beautiful photographs! You're very talented :)
