Can not be out in the dirt so I am here at the computer. The picket fence looks so garden like. You spent your weekend doing that, I spent it washing windows. Oh such fun. Did get to walk the shore yesterday to check out any plants springing up after all the snows this Winter. Posted as few photos this morning. Still have some snow on the country roads here, but I am a believer - Spring will happen! We'll probably at some point in the next couple of years make some type of raised bed for them to grow in there. A woman working at the nursery suggested root pruning them in a few years to allow them to stay in the pots. I've never heard of that for a rose before.Catherine@AGardenerinProgresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05001060769253273283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960442494452732795.post-5741297067432717002011-04-25T04:48:10.548-07:002011-04-25T04:48:10.548-07:00It looks so nice ... The white picket fence looks great! I think, it will be very pretty if the roses would climb up the arbor. I am just concerned that long term the pots are a bit small for a climber to grow in. My experience is that climbing roses do much better when planted in the ground in the long run. But of course the best is always to make your own experiences, anyway!<br />Christinaorganicgardendreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11122516730008378516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960442494452732795.post-30307169831183665102011-04-24T12:53:43.275-07:002011-04-24T12:53:43.275-07:00I love it!!
